Hello, I'm Kadir Cive. I'm a comic book artist, illustrator, and storyboard artist. I graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, with a degree in Painting, and I have been professionally working in the fields of comic books, storyboards, and concept art for over 10 years.
My artistic journey began in my childhood through animated films and comic books. Over time, my interest in Marvel and classic Italian comic book schools led me to a deeper exploration of the field. Drawing inspiration from masters like John Buscema, Frank Frazetta, David Finch, Dave Rapoza and Greg Smallwood, I developed a special connection with classic comic book series like Conan, Blacksad, and Indeh. Traditional inking, dynamic lines, and strong storytelling form the foundation of my style, while I continue to explore different techniques in my quest to develop my own unique style. I create my work digitally but in a traditional style and i don't use soulless AI-based tools in any of my projects.
My work spans a wide range of sectors, including comic books, storyboards, short concept story illustrations, cinema, advertising, video games, and publishing. I've had the opportunity to collaborate on Hollywood productions, high-budget projects, and with renowned directors. Additionally, in 2022, my storyboard were used for the promotion of a NASA-supported Hollywood film at the Cannes Film Festival. As an artist well-versed in the Marvel style, I bring stories to life with dynamic panels and striking visuals. My work is heavily influenced by genres like fantasy, sword and sorcery, dystopia, western, and cyberpunk.
For me, art is not just a technical process, but a form of deep storytelling. Therefore, I treat your projects not merely as a job, but as my own, carefully analyzing every detail to achieve the highest quality. Strong communication and attention to detail are what allow me to elevate every project I work on.

I created the full-length storyboard for Space Racer, a sci-fi film supported by NASA. The movie tells the futuristic story of a young woman striving to become the first female space racer while overcoming a fractured society.
